My duater lost her Ipod Nano at school. I get her it for Chirstmas. The day after the Ipod be lost someone found it. The teacher saw the boy find it so she took it from the boy and took it to the ofice contained by the school. My duater asks the ofice if they found it and they said yes, but they lost it within the ofice.Should they pay for it?

No. Your daughter lost it and if the bureau finds it again then she will catch it back. Just because it be misplaced after you kid lost it does not mean that they hold to pay for it.
Did you consult to the school? I'm not sure because school always influence they're not responsible for lost items but since it was lost next found then lost it could be at variance

So , if they take it upon themselves to confiscate your daughter's ipod, they should be held responsible for it from the time it enter there custody until it go back to it's artistic owner, They should pay the full cost of a replacement i pod. You can sue them for this.
Also, Just for kick, if it is a 4GB ipod nano, you could say it be 8GB and make them money more, they have no bearing of Knowing it's hard drive sive if it's lost right?
