Just follow the steps and enjoy a fully unlock/jailbroken iPod.

Well, to my inference, I'd rather not try jailbreaking until your warranty is up, this is because if you mess it up, you mess it up, jailbreaks invalid your warranty. And, its messed up, so Apple won't fix it.
