Should we buy her a 8gb or a 16 gb iPod Touch? Our daughter's 16th birthday is coming up in two

Our daughter's 16th birthday is coming up in two weeks. She isn't driving nonetheless, so she has asked for an iPod touch. After a great deal of thought, we've decided to capture her one. Hey, it is a lot cheaper than buying her a sports car.

We had planned to dance with the 8gb. She currently have a 2gb MP3 player, so that is pretty a step up. Then, after reading all the things the iPod Touch will do, I'm not sure 8gb will be big ample.

So what has your experience be? Should we go near the 8 or the 16?
Answers:
16 have always be good plenty.
With 8 Gb's she may not need to verbs about Memory.

But next to the 16 she WILL NEVER have to verbs about space.

If it's within your budget I would get the 16, I enjoy 8 and have singular filled it in the middle, but I plan to put various video on it. Of which will surely take up the remaining Memory.

Get the 16.
1) Ask her if she REALLY desires a touch. Sure they have WiFi and a touch eyeshade, but they have the 80 GB iPod classic for $250 and the 160 GB for $350. The 80 GB Zune is also $250. If she's inclined to sacrifice a touch screen, by adjectives means move about for the Zune or iPod Classic.

2) If she's 100% sure on the Touch. Go with the 16 gb. It's twice the memory for the price difference.

The Touch can do greatly. Is she a music buff or a movie buff?

If it's only music you could draw from away with the 8 GB. Movie buff, 16 is the method to go. Keep an eye out for the 32 GB. That seem like the best concordat to me.

All in adjectives, if it's between the 8 and 16, I'd go near the 16. After all, she is turning 16 years ripened :)

Hope she's happy!
if the price difference isnt too much, get the 16gb.

Hmm She will Love The 32GB she will surprised and its not much expencive than the 8gb I'm 14, quite a gadget freak you could utter so I probably know best. I got my ipod touch 16gig months ago. I be first debating wether to get an 8gig or 16gig. I go with 16gig because 1. The price be more worth it then if I get 8gig
2. I wasn't sure if 8gig was ample (it's not) If you're not sure, ask your daughter if she will put movies/ video clips on it or not, because they take up MASSIVE space. Pictures are not an issue. Also ask her how much music she have on her computer. I have 322 songs, and a couple of video clips, and I own 10gig left. FYI : 8gig is not 8gig, an ipod touch is pretty advanced next to technology, Apple uses that 8gig to install the touch's features/ apps. It's more like 7.3gig. If she's not going to put movies/ video clips on it or if she have none, then she won't call for a 16gig. 8/16 - they have one and the same battery natural life
