an ipod battery should final up to 5 years depending on use. 3 years is more likely
like I don`t know after 30 times suppoised to be up to a thousand! But could be up to 500! Dont make like mistake I made and charge it even after using for about an hou as it cuts the eventual existence of the battery down! I after bought a new battery-operated of ebay and was right for a while but then that started to drain sudden as well! Fitting it is smooth though!
