The reason your video loses its nouns is because itunes doesn't understand WMV files.

Did you use iTunes to convert video to iPod? If yes, try other iPod converter, because iTunes cannot convert muxed video (muxed video means the audio and video are on alike track), muxed video converted by iTunes will lose sound. You can revise more about the problem from apple allowed document
