Can you plug a mixer to a mixer? I know you can hook up an amp to

I know you can hook up an amp to an unpowered mixer to get to restrained speakers, but i have a weaker powered mixer. I want to know of the powered mixer can be used straight out of the unpowered mixer. is it possible to hook that up to the aux transport of the unpowered mixer, just to deed as an amp for the 2 unpowered speakers?

If ur confused, this is for DJing. i have 2 powered speakers and a powered sub, but 2 unpowered monitors, and a fragile powered mixer on the side. If this is possible, it wud save me $$, from buying an amp. gratefulness.

It is posible in several ways that would technically be possible if you used the Aux sends from the unpowered to the powered mixer's channel inputs (the D going to your powered speakers)...but you're probably going to end up beside grounding issues. live sound can be a tricky entry at times. be certain to used suspended connections between the mixers.

keep contained by mind that most mixers are not "un-powered". there is a preamp that provides some gain. i would recommend using preamps on individual one of the two mixers.

i must ask though-if you have a relatively powered set of D..why are you using monitors for dj'ing? why not just use receiver?
