Everytime i plug my ipod in, it say that itunes has detected a ipod surrounded by recovery mode, and to hit restore to fix it. Well i try to do that and it keep saying that it is surrounded by recovery mode and wants to be restored. Can you please help me?

hold center and menu till apple logo apears and that should work, if not it might be defective! Go to apple and return with a new one, because im guessing you freshly got this untried iPod so you're still under warrenty. Hav you tried holding the power button until it turns past its sell-by date, then turn it backbone on?
