I guess it's really your own personal preference..but here's my picture:
Black - Shows smudges and smear marks extraordinarily easily
White - Show's any dirt, scuff, accidental drop results very unforced
So I would go beside red!

I close to the white because its iridescent and pretty
The pics dont show it but it changes color within the light
