I am thinking to buy GPS navigation system soon but this quesetion just come in my mind....How do GPS will update it's info. contained by future if near are new roads and traffic pattern will also change?At that time we will enjoy to buy another current GPS system?

The ones that are updatable use an sd memory card to store the maps. Mine come with a 2gig card. Updated map can be downloaded and copied to the card. Many new top of the lineAuto GPS Navigators use a wireless service that broadcasts local traffic background. This is used by the gps to route around road construction and traffic jams.
The GPS will not update the data content. They lately locate your current position and using the internal pre-installed maps and algorithm add your directions.
If and when new roads and address are developed. you will have to buy spanking new maps from your GPS provider.
These map are not too cheap either.
You can still live near a GPS system and the installed maps for a few years.
At the time when you perceive you need the newer map, it may turn out that it will be cheaper to buy a new GPS device near latest features and that have the latest variation of the maps.
Alternatively, if you similar to your current GPS then you can buy the map only and upgrade your device.
CAUTION - Remember the re-chargeable mobile in the GPS have limited energy and you need logical expertise to replace it when it dies. A GPS device is used to calculate the device's position.
The map, roads, cafes, WiFi spots, and other POIs (Points of Interest) are external from that system and created by third party. You position is superimposed on the maps. You can usually buy updated copies of these map but it is not required by any means for your GPS to function.
