Active sync sprint mogul serve?

I bought a sprint mogul off a friend and im trying to integer out how to use active sync, i downloaded it bad the microsoft website and when i hook up my phone to the usb cable nothing happen ive tried everything, any ideas?

try downloading this program call "windows mobile Device Center" (wmdc) (at) www.download.com type it within the search box and download it (it's free)

they should give you a start up disc it should be on here. If you are having problems can you enlighten me what's going on? error message or anything?
