Blackberry Pearl 8130 Question? I have a Blackberry Pearl and I hold a

I have a Blackberry Pearl and I hold a media card for extra storage. Today out of the blue I stopped unloading text messages and when I go to look at my inbox it was completely clear. I deleted the pictures that be saved on my phone instead of the medium card, and now I can receive manuscript messages but they only stay on my phone for a couple of minutes so if I don't check it within time, they get delete before I even see it. My phone is automatically delete all messages after a couple of minutes. For some rationale even after I deleted the pictures the free space on my phone say 0. I don't understand why it is doing this.

Has anyone else have this problem? What do you do? I called Verizon but they necessitate me to call from a separate phone to troubleshoot the problem but I don't hold another phone here right now so I"ll enjoy to call them tomorrow. I a moment ago thought I'd see if anyone here could help.

Thanks!
Answers:  What I did that seem to work is to delete the media bad the card then thorny reset the device by pulling the battery. The rock-hard reset is so that the device realizes that the amount of memory have grown so it stops deleting messages. Also I preserve the number of messages trimmed down by deleting the matured ones every day or two. Other than that I am unsure how to rework that setting on the phone. But by doing this hopefully it will no longer be a problem.
