Clearing ESN bad Treo 755p..EXPERTS ONLY PLEASE? My uncle is getting me a ''found'' treo 755p
My uncle is getting me a ''found'' treo 755p for Sprint.
The ESN isnt clean and can't be activate. How do i clear the ESN without concacting sprint and letting them know the phone
be "found"?
Also, how do i do a complete hard reset on the phone of late in luggage theres too much crap on it?
Answers: ESN records (what is "clean" and what isn't) are stored by Sprint and the other CDMA carrier, not on the phone itself. If a phone cannot be activated, i.e. because Sprint placed a lock on activating that phone. There is no process around it except to sweet-talk to Sprint. A dirty ESN is not something that can be fixed on the phone itself.
A hard reset can be done by holding down the power button while you press the reset button inside the freestyle cover.
