well i doubt theres not much yooh can dooh sowwi but yooh probably can but ive never be on contract If you want the best price afterwards you will have to extend your contract. It won't be another two years; it should purely be extended 2 years from the date you purchase the Curve. If you don't want any extension you will have to settle up retail price for the Curve, which I believe is about $450.
I would a short time ago do the extension. Since you have just had the contract for more or less a month your contract would only be extended for more or less a month from the original wrap up date.
I agree next to jeremy. If all else fail, sell your sidekick on ebay to someone so you will grasp the majority of the money you will need to grasp the curve. Since it is only a month dated you could probably get enormously close to retail price for it.
I just bought the BB Curve at Cingular - I have to sign a two year contract, but it was merely $50 after rebate. I love this phone! So much better than my old Treo 650.
