Okay, I know what a palm pilot is (as in I know what it looks like) , but I've be reading the The Clique books and all the girls hold palm pilots. What all can you do on them??
Answers:

I do not know. The biggest purposes of a Palm (as evidenced by the hard buttons) are:
- Datebook: similar to a Franklin Planner, only digital. You can put down appointments, birthdays, etc. and even group them and have an alarm remind you when it's coming up
-Contacts: An address book for storing phone numbers, e-mails, address, etc.
-Memo Pad: Allows one to write oneself notes or speck down a little sketch resembling on a sticky pad.
-Tasks: Allows you to put together checklists and catalogue them. These are also similar to the Franklin Planner, only you don't obligation to erase or whiteout to change something.

On top of that, in attendance are an almost infinite number of applications that you can get for your Palm (just as in that are with a PC). I use mine for games, surfing the trellis, reading news, reading the Bible, looking up guitar chords, creating Word and Excel documents, listen to MP3s, and recording short voice transcript to myself.
Palm Pilots are PDAs so you can do pretty much anything on them. You can look at the internet (scaled down) open and create documents, diary events and sync it with your home computer. You also own a large database for phone numbers and other information. You can also play games on it.
it depends on manufacter and model but most can watch movies, play music, play games, hold contacts, conceivably check email and surf the web. Some also hold phones built into them.
