HDDVD upscaling? Does anybody have a reccomendation as to which is

Does anybody have a reccomendation as to which is the best HDDVD upscaler to buy. I own an HD ready tv and want to know how to upscale standard programs viewed via freeview to HD as ably as normal DVD disks.
Answers:

I wouldn't bother. Get an ACTUAL High-Def source, similar to Sky HD, or Cable, and a Blu-Ray player or PS3.

Upscaling is never going to cut the mustard, because the extra picture information just isn't here in the first place, so it won't come close to a material HD source. I enjoy tried DVD-HD860 from Samsung. This is quite suitable and can upscale to 1080i. You should check this out too!
I use this with a 42inch plasma TV from LG.
buy BLU RAY
it can also run HD dvd
Don;t bother.

Toshiba have announced they are indirect down HD DVD and the film companies supporting it (Warner Bros + Paramount) are switching to Blu Ray, aloning beside Blockbuster etc who will stop reting them.

Spen your money on Blu Ray as HD DVD will be obselete very soon.
