I'm having directv installed on my crucial floor...wondering if there is any obligation for installers to go up to the attic or underground room or just the roof/main floor?

If its solely goin to the main floor and you own no plans to hook up any where else contained by the home in the adjectives, have them walk the most direct route. from the dish to where your current cable flash is. They will hold to install a dish in a position where on earth it can get an unobstructed scenery of the southern sky. A cable will have to be run between the dish and where on earth the receiver is installed.
If they can run the cable minus entering those areas, then they won't involve to go near. I have Dish Network, the installers run the cable on the outside of my house and drilled a small hole in the wall close the receiver to bring the cable inside. They didn't requirement to go anywhere except on the roof.
