Hi i have an alba DVD recorder, never used one past.

got my vhs player connected to the tv and later the tv connected to the dvd player alll via scart cable.

when i put a blank disc in it a moment ago says error.

it say DVD-R on the ooutside and they are the discs im using, any ideas?

Answers:  The first entry I'd try is a DVD+R disc, the unit may only be mislabeled. The site listed below shows an Alba that uses DVD+R. If that isn't the problem, post fund.
