I am planning on switching services and have some shows that I do not want to lose (exercise routines, etc.). I am wondering if in attendance is anyway to copy the programs to a DVD player

You can use a PC Tv Tuner card to record shows on your computer I run my dvr to my dvd recorder. I've heard some newer dvrs enjoy copywrite protection on movies, so it may not work except for tv show.
