I got a investigational dvd burner and it says mult recorder on it and can someone please let somebody know me what that means

It simpely routine that it can burn disk at multi speeds IE 4X-8X- 10X-16X
most likely it is referring to the propensity to record like disc one right after another with out rereading the info. What is DVD Multi?
The DVD Forum created the DVD Multi specification surrounded by 2001 to provide hardware manufacturers near the requirements necessary to be paid computer and consumer electronics (CE) DVD devices read or read and write most DVD disc formats sanctioned by the DVD Forum.
