On some see websites, like nbc.com, they own a lot of their shows.
i dont think you can, possibly fir certian shows on there website (for example the department is on the nbc so on nbc.com they have the department but not live. im not sure if they still do becaseu of the strike.) i do know if you puti n a dvd a program should pop up but idk. You have to buy a T.V Tuner. There are some cheap ones out near. Here is a good correlation to some really cheap T.V Tuners.

If you enjoy a tv you'd like to examine buy a slingbox! I had a tv tuner since, and I think they're rubbish. Unless you have a great computer next to all this memory. The slingbox can hook up to your Cable Box, TV, Tivo, or DVD player and it allows you to view your tv from anywhere with an internet nouns. You just hook up the slingbox to your TV or anything you'd like and install the software to your desktop/laptop. Very simple to set up. The merely draw back is, if someone is home watching the TV they are forced to study what you're watching.. including all your focus surfing. Best part is, if you own a good phone you can d/l the software to the phone and survey on your phone. They're about $125 and full of awesome.
You need a TV Tuner. It's a device that plugs into your PC, any USB or PCI (inside the PC). You install the software that comes with it, you plug your cable into the device and scrutinize TV using the software.
You can look on the net and read reviews to find a dutiful TV Tuner. I know ATI makes some perfect ones but there might be better ones.
