have tried to history but it didnt work.
Answers: Both of these should be possible as long as you have your cable set properly between the systems. Standard cables are RCA plugs next to red, white and yellow lead. Your systems should be colored coded as well. To transcription live TV onto VHS tape you appropriate your cables from the OUTPUT on the wager on or front of your TV into the INPUT of your VHS tape deck. To history a DVD to a VHS tape you wil call for 2 sets of cables. First you appropriate one set of cables from the OUTPUT on the DVD player and plug it into the INPUT on the spinal column of your TV. The TV will play that signal normally on Channel 3 on your TV. Make sure you see the signal on your TV blind before hooking up your VHS deck and trying to journal. Once you have the signal hold the other set of cables and connect them from the OUTPUT on the spinal column or front of your TV and plug it into the INPUT on your VHS tape deck. Make sure you don't hold any other cables connected into any of the systems or TV e.g. cable nurture or direct TV feed. The pretext you didn't have it working the first time is your components may not hold been set to the right channel. Some components have a small switch on the final marked #3 or #4.
