I want to be able to story off of the tv beside a dvd recorder but want to have it on hardrive as capably as some programme's on dvd. can this be done and if so can you find one that would do this. if not appreciation for your help.

I own one an LG HDD recorder 80gb hard drive i get it from Comet a year ago for lb170. i can put in disc or narrative onto the hard drive.
