Hey guys I'm torn between the three, if you could give me some suggestions on which one to buy that would relieve. I could get the XBR4 for $1400, the 4071 for $1350, and the A3000 for around $1650, assistance me on what I should do please. (Leaning towards the A3000 cause its 20'' bigger)

Sony 40XBR4, definatly! I bought one a couple of years ago, it is still the best small screen avaliable on the market. They're timeless and are never outdated, include adjectives the extras, full HD, and are stylish. As long as you hold no problem with the extra depth, find the projection TV. It's going to be quite a while in the past you'll be cable to get a 60" flat panel for that price.
You should be aware that Sony have stopped ,manufacturing projection TVs.
Sony have good service, so I don't have a sneaking suspicion that that Will affect their after warranty service, but you should take that into consideration.

fan boom on the XBR4 can be distracting during quiet reception
do think that this is the biggest flaw of this TV. However, near isn't anything else bad I can say-so about this TV. At first I be fairly annoyed by the hum, but now I'm thoughtful of used to it. I do find myself turning the volume up a little to drown out the din. Usually a volume level above 12-15 and I can't hear it anymore. Supposedly, this is not a problem on the 52 inch, but it is on the 46 inch. I read somewhat bit about it on avsforum.com. Some own called a Sony technician out, but it doesn't nouns like that have been too successful. Overall, however, I am still jovial with my purchase. Anyone else own any success surrounded by quieting their fans?
