Will an HDMI cable augment aspect on non-HD channel? I don't have HD channel; I just want
I don't have HD channel; I just want to use my HDTV for regular viewing. The picture is pretty crappy. Will an HDMI cable augment regular quality or with the sole purpose HD quality?
(I know this sounds resembling a really stupid question if you know the answer, but I lately got an HDTV so I don't know anything more or less it.)
Answers:
No.
You need HD service. Then use correct component cables or HDMI cable. Call your cable company or Sat service to upgrade.
HDTV for 'regular' viewing is resembling buying a speedboat and putting it in your backyard pool - charitable of a waste.
Short cable runs - bring a basic HDMI cable from MonoPrice. For longer runs (15 ft or more) achieve a cable from BlueJeans. Neither of these places will rip you off.
No. The sole purpose of an HDTV is for HD programming. Nothing will improve the picture on Non HD channel. I'll never understand why empire buy HDTV's but don't subscribe to the HD programming. It's like buying a Ferrari but never putting gas contained by it.
weeder Since you are just viewing regular channel over rabbit ears or basic cable (coaxial), I'm not sure if you can even hook up a HDMI cable to the source.
