Yes, absolutely. However, if at all possible try to get a alien one, more features, better picture etc. at much lower price.
Most HDTV tuners own HDMI, VGA/DVI, composite, S-video and component outputs.
Your TV probably uses composite and S-video inputs so it should work fine with the tuner.

If you are talking going on for the Feb. 2009 switch to digital TV converter box, keep surrounded by mind that it a digital converter not an HD converter. That said, in broad yes most TVs will work with the converters. However you won't be getting HD unless the converter can output HD and your TV can display it.
