EMERGANCY! Need any aid ASAP!!? Ugh, I can't believe this is happening. Well, I

Ugh, I can't believe this is happening. Well, I lug taekwondo and my testing for my subsequent belt is TOMORROW. I have a totally unreliable teacher and she freshly got get her car stolen so I be unable to revise the rest of my material to be capable of test. Instead, she give me a VCR and told me to watch it to swot up and review all of my other objects. Only problem is, we don't have a VCR player. So today, my mom bought one. It wouldn't hook up the TV. So, we bought a mini TV. It one and only has 2 hole things, and the VCR/DVD player have 3. The colors are white, yellow and red. The holes on the TV aren't any color. I enjoy of course the 3 plugs, but I enjoy no idea where on earth to plug anything in. There's a hundred little holes contained by the DVD/VCR player, 2 on the TV. The remote does NOT work. I NEED TO TEST TOMORROW MY MOM ALREADY SPENT AROUND $560 ON TAEKWONDO AND THE TV AND VCR PLAYER! PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO HOOK IT UP AND START W/O A REMOTE!! Well...i'm going to go put money on to crying...
Answers:

newer tv sets are no longer VCR compatible.

you will most likely inevitability to pick up some kind of adapter.. i hold one for my tv/vcr as well.. but i dont know how it adjectives works (hubby fixed it).. maybe you could bring the cords near you to a store, and explain to a salesperson.. they could suggest the right product for you.

sorry im not much help!

cut: sometimes i just put the video in and press play, consequently sit behind the tv and try every combination of plug surrounded by each hole.
It would of helped if you would enjoy told us the model number & brand of VCR & new TV and which remote doesn't work, but I'll supply this a shot anyway.

Easiest thing to try:

Check your VCR's instruction manual, it should have a coax output connector dotted "Antenna out" or "RF out" or something like that. Take a coax cable and connect the VCR's antenna output to one of the TV's antenna input. The VCR will convey a signal to the TV on channel 3 or 4.

If you can't use the coax nouns, check how you set up your composite (red, yellow, & white) cable. The yellow output is video, you can hook any the red or white cable to the audio in jack on the exotic TV. Depending on the new TV, you might own to figure out how to convert the input on the TV from antenna/cable to video.

Getting the signal out of the VCR/DVD player will probably depend on you reading the manual that come with it. Start by putting the video in the VCR and pressing the play button. If you don't draw from a signal to the TV, look around the VCR and see if there is a agency to switch outputs. You might have to press a button to switch the output from antenna to VCR or something resembling that.

If you can't get the VCR to work lacking a remote, the two most common reason for a remote not to work are:

Batteries dead or installed backwards.

Most remotes can control more than one device. See if in attendance are buttons to select which one: "TV" "DVD" "Sat"

If you can't bring the remote back to energy you can probably get by near a universal replacement remote, but after you will have to integer out how to program the new remote.

--------------------------------------...
If you still can't carry it to work, perhaps you hold a friend that has a working VCR you could use.
STOP FREAKING OUT!! Geez...blanch up, you can ALWAYS RETEST....

It's not like getting your Driver's license, it's varying the color of your WHITE BELT to a Darker color....

Didn't you NOTICE that everything on your TV and your VCR are COLOR CODED?
And that there are INPUTS and OUTPUTS?

Deeeeeeeep Breath here.Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

NOW you can certainly THINK instead of panic-ing.

Now you know the signal has to come OUT of the VCR to attain IN to the TV set right?

So find the Video output on the VCR, connect it to the video INPUT on your TV set and HOPE AND PRAY you know how to match Yellow to pallid and white to white....(you can use the red on the white if you prefer)

But if it doesn't work....Hell go to the TEST anyways and do what you do and hold been doing for some time presently....

Show me.PAINT FENCE.

Show me.Wash Car.

Show me.Scratch Azz....

Good.... you earn Yellow Belt....

And if they say....You NO Scratch Azz close to THAT!! Scratch Azz like this! Then you swot up how to scratch azz and do it right subsequent time..

Right? The person who said "newer sets are no longer VCR compatible" is incorrect. Since they enjoy AV inputs, newer sets are actually MORE "VCR compatible" than ancient sets!

As for your situation:
Hook the YELLOW (video output) from the VCR/DVD to the VIDEO input of the TV. Since time is of the essence, I'm going to have you plug the WHITE (left audio output) from the DVD/VCR to the AUDIO input on the TV -- and resign from the red (right audio output) unhooked.
The DVD/VCR's outputs may be labeled "out" rather than "output" but you achieve the idea.

You will be missing the right audio culvert, but since the audio is probably just the instructor chitchat into a camcorder's built-in microphone, this shouldn't be a problem. Later, when there isn't this rush, you can hook up both channel by adding a "Y" adapter to combine the vanished and right channels into one - Radio Shack can abet you with this.

As for the remote that doesn't work - try replacing the battery!

There is also probably a "play" button on the front panel of the DVD/VCR (there might be separate ones for the DVD and VCR sections - push the one contained by the VCR section).
Instead of watching TV, why not study those math problems?
Go ahead and cry -- wah, wah, wah.
A obedient start is ALWAYS to read the manual.
This is simply a guess, that the VCR/DVD combo has 2 outputs and one input.
You stipulation to connect the VCR output to the TV input.
You need to switch the TV to Line In or something similar to landscape the VCR output
You need to put the battery in the remote and variety sure it is in VCR mode (no DVD or TV mode)
And if these instrauctions go amiss, do read the manuals. Since these are adjectives new, you must enjoy all of them.
