TV Picture is acting strange, does anybody know if I can fix myself? The top 20-30ish percent of the top of the
The top 20-30ish percent of the top of the screen is "scrunched" or compressed into a fairly thin dash and a big black line is disappeared at the top of the screen. The top of the blind looks like it's contained by widescreen or something but the bottom of the screen go all the means of access down to the bottom. I know it is the TV because it does it through AV and cable inputs... Please help!

Answers:
your picture tube is nearly to die.
a new tube is in lay down very soon.
try unplugging it and pluggin it vertebrae in if that doesnt work hit it
They are right...your picture tube is about to die, and the cost to fix would be close to equal the cost to replace. Bonus points for watching "Scrubs"
It does indeed look as if the tube is something like to expire
I'd say you enjoy a bad capacitor surrounded by the vertical output circuit. Not an uncommon problem surrounded by any tv. But, unless you know what you're looking for, best to leave it to a repairman.
It's NOT your picture tube.
Its not the picture tube its the vertical IC or something close to a capacitor or resistor in the vertical circuit. I dont suggest you will be able to fix it your self but it shouldnt be too expensive if you bear it to a repair shop. Ignore the first four idiots ! the following two are correct !
Technical description of your fault is TOP FOLD OVER , it will be a small pro electro capacitor in vertical amp circuit !
