In this same row of logic, he thinks we must presently buy a $5,000 48 inch flat screen digital TV! Is he just pulling my leg and trying to convince me to consent to him buy the television system of his dreams? We already own a perfectly moral 48 inch screen tube. It's only a few years hoary, cost me $250 and has a without fault good picture. I anticipate, it's nowhere near as cool as the television he drools over at Best Buy or anything, but it's fine, really!
My real examine is this... will the switch affect my perfectly well brought-up regular old TV? Do I really stipulation to let my husband run hog blustery in Circuit City? Because he won't stop at only the fancy TV. Oh no. He wants the Bose Surround Sound system thingy, fresh Lazy Boys chairs, a beer cooler/coffee table thingy, etc, etc.... There are very affordible ways to win digital tvs, I would simply work on a compromise, however, all stations are converting to digital, which way that you can either catch a conversion kit so you can use a analog tv, or bring back a digital tv. just a tv can cost $1000 - $2000 (you can spend more and attain top of the line). Stop there, you own a nice tv, get the surrond nouns next year.

You will requirement a converter box. If you have cable or satellite TV, that's taken supervision of. if you have an over-the-air reception, you'll necessitate a converter box.

I can. First rotten, please don't spend $5000 on a new 48" box. That would be asinine. If you do decide to purchase a investigational television, you should really check out this website: http://www.digitaldealz.net, they own very nice television for great prices that smoke retail store prices. I just bought a 46" 1080p HDTV LCD TV from them, for much lower than that.
But continuing, they switch really should not effect the TV if it is a newer TV. If it is an elder TV with simply an analog tuner, than you have a couple of option, satellite television, digital cable that includes a cable box (both of which hold digital tuners), and then they hold digital tuners that convert the digital signal into analog for older TVs.

Don't consent to him run hog wild within Circuit City, they are too expensive anyway. That 48" that you have will work in recent times fine after the conversion, but may require a cheap purchase.
