Check out saver thrift store they are nationwide! Or stir to Craigs list it is resembling ebay but free! Your problem is the use of 'good', 'cheap', and 'used'. At LEAST 2 out of 3 are mutually exclusive. That's why you haven't gotten any help. I'm not aware of any place I could recommend to buy used TVs - what a stake! And no one is making a TV to be exact both cheap and good (performance and reliability). Look at the 11/07 and 3/08 Consumer Reports HDTV articles.
Hi There:
I understand everyone's budget is different, however, sometimes you enjoy to look at what you asking for it's reasonable or not. A LCD TV for lower than $200 is impossible, and if you do find one one eBay, good luck! By the time it get to shipped to you, it may be damaged or something is wrong next to it. I have two suggestion that would work for you:
1. Save your money until you can afford a LCD tv brand alien in the box. Not one and only will ensure it's brand new, but you will get hold of a 1 year warranty on it. Do NOT BUY extendted warranty, it's a waste of money for you. The principal LCD TV Brand are Element, Polarid, Sanyo, Oliva and Vizio. For a 27" to 32", if on sale, you can take it for around $400.
2. Another suggest and a good TV for you would be an CRT HDTV. Those are the infirm style CRT flat screen tvs. They in a minute cost $200 to $300 for a 32" Samsung makes them, and they looks REALLY GOOD! It's HDTV, freshly not a LCD screen tv. They can be used to keep watch on HD programmings and accept HDMI inputs. This is your BEST resort.
