Why have my sagem get a pink tint to the peak. its not the telly as it is fine on analogue? i tried to turn box on and off bud

maybe a power surge have damaged the box.
try using a different scart/hdmi cable which you know works... it could be a worn out wire.
but for, unplug the box and leave it next to nothing connected for 24 hours to find rid of the static and try again. I would go into the menu settings and check whether it have a warmth tint function some tvs own various settings for different inputs to capture the best picture for the unit your using whether films or tv programmes some enjoy an auto setting so change depending on input source used if to be exact the case select rotten on the auto setting and select a setting your happy beside different people enjoy different eyesight and appreciation of how things should be viewed i hope this help and sorts your problem out
