I have an HD talented tv and I have cable, and the national channel (nbc, cbs, abc, fox etc.) broadcast the regular picture and digital as well: resembling cbs for me would be 11 regular and 11.1 the better picture (digital broadcast). So for my cable channels, is near a way to know how to see the better quality or do I hold to get a HD cable box or anything?

You need an HD cable box and their HD service. you would need an hd cable box. you are recieving the over the upper air broadcast channels contained by your area i believe, and usually near are only a few through channels beside local HD braodcast.
