Rear projection Panasonic HDTV show red spot? I have a Panasonic PT-52LCX65 reverse projection HDTV for
I have a Panasonic PT-52LCX65 reverse projection HDTV for almost 3 years, of course, it is out of warranty . Few weeks ago, a grey red spot appeared in the middle moved out side. It is not visible on darkened images but traceable on faces or bedside light background. Anyone face this or have an concept of what that could be ?
if the spot is somewhat fuzzy, play subsidise a DVD or VHS and look for the spot, then hold-up the picture and change the aspect. If the spot moves it is coming from the source. Also, playing posterior a DVD verifies if the issue is on adjectives inputs.
If the spot doesn't move, call Panasonic at 1-8OO-211-7262 and run through the hellacious automated system to reach the Rear Projection LCD department or the MMD department.
If it is determined by a rep as person the fuzzy spot issue, we are covering that out of warranty and will schedule a service appointment for you. The authorized servicers are usually provided with a apparatus by their FSR (Field Service Representative) and can repair this issue rather in the blink of an eye (if it is, in reality, the issue I'm referring to) and you will not be charged for the evaluation.
Please call us fast so we can determine the problem.
Have a nice day. might be an off or comatose pixel. good luck beside that... usually costs more than buyin a new tv to fix it
