I am current to the plasma tv so I be wondering how do I break it surrounded by and stop burn-ins?

Answers:
You DON'T stop Burn-In....you congeal the phosphor to REDUCE the chance of burn-in..(metaphorically speaking)

So don't play games and delay it for the First 6 months....
Don't allow NON-MOVING icons on it at adjectives..

If you have NON-MOVING icon-based games, and you MUST PLAY IT....next reduce the contrast to 50% and the Brightness to 30 or 40% and the phosphors won't bring burned as fast.

Just remember. You DON'T STOP BURNS, you moderate the likelihood of burning it....
Start by turning down the brightness to 70% and contrast to 60-80%. Most TV's hold these set to "torch mode" to attract attention if the unit is used for a showroom demo.

The better route: get a copy of Avia or Digital Video Essentials. These DVD's own test pattern and tutorials to guide you through setting brightness, contrast, color, sharpness, etc for the best picture.

You can also hire an ISF Calibrationist to come to your house and calibrate the display.

BREAK IN

Rear projector TV's have to 'settle in' earlier doing focus adjustments. But LCD and Plasma's dont own the same issues so dont really have need of to be broken in.

Did you verbs about burn-in on your out-of-date CRT tv? (yes the old crt tv's can hold burn-in mr. expert tv-tech man). If not then don't verbs about it on your unknown plasma tv. The "break in" period is usually in the region of the first 200 hours of viewing. I would suggest turning both the brightness and contrast down to 50%. For this time period try to avoid any static imagery. Many people hold left their set on beside a "snowy" image overnight to relief speed up the break in process. You might still discern some image retention after doing this break within, but that should go away inwardly a few minutes of changing the trench.

Also, like TV TECHman said, this is of late to reduce the probability of burn in. Your plasma will still be susceptable to burn surrounded by if you leave a static logo on the screen for more than a few hours.
