Are Plasma HD TV's worth the trouble?? I'm thinking about upgrading from my tube from what
I'm thinking about upgrading from my tube from what I have very soon but I have hear a lot of fruitless things about plasma tv's. Should I travel DLP, LCD, or Plasma?
Answers:
There are just two reasons to move about with a Plasma or LCD.
1) To be trendy
2) To be capable of wall mount the TV
The picture quality on the DLP is better and more consistent than both of them. DLP is cheaper and more reliable. Sure, it isn't as shrunken (about 10" depending on the model/size), but it is the best quality and blast for the buck... unless you just hold to hang your tv up.
yes i just get 1 and love it i have have it for 5 moutns not had any trouble

refresh rate, and they are susceptible to burning if screeen is not rejuvenated within a convinced timeframe. 5 out of 6 of your first answers are from fools and idiots who don't have a clue! If you follow the subjective "opinions" here, you will attain what you deserve.
If you type in "lcd vs. plasma" surrounded by the "Search for questions:" box on any Y/A page, you'll get hold of at least a hundred hits. This is asked over and over.
Or, read these 2 sites over to attain a general tuition:

no they are not worth the trouble. you're better bad with a HD LCD TV. plasma is unreliable.
Go with LCD!
I dream up it's worth buying a plasma tv. Stick with panasonic and you won't regret it. I've reviewed lg,samsung, philips and they adjectives seem to enjoy burn in problems, not panasonic. The picture is great. If you enjoy extra money lying around, get the pioneer plasma, which is overpriced i dream up but excellent as well.
I would dance with LCD its better. Or you can keep on until the new format OLED starts selling.
