Have you seen this TV surrounded by person? What's not to approaching from the specs? But the first time I saw this TV running was a huge disappointment; this TV produces a fuzzy emblem. It makes a Vizio look astounding within comparison. Compare the sharpness of this TV to its competitors and you'll think twice in the past purchasing.
P.S. The A550 is a brand new 2008 model! It have only be shipping for a couple of weeks now contained by the US.
Honestly. I think your paying too much. You are also purchasing direct from the businesswoman (whom can charge anything they feel).
I have help several people here near their TV purchase. If I were you I would check your local electronics retailors. They may not achievement like it but some are exceptionally willing to barter. (ie. Best Buy)
Specifically at Best Buy ask for EOL items (End Of Life), these are models that the entrepreneur no longer makes and the retailor requirements to get rid of them ASAP, for dirt cheap. Another route of pursuit is to look at "Open Items". These are TV's that the store used for their own purpose, returns, etc... Once again, good big bucks there. (just brand sure to get the extended warranty)
