Why will i have need of to upgrade my TV?

Answers:
No... a moment ago get a freeview set top box and you will be OK ..
yes Um... that's very confusing. What are you refering to exactly? What type of TV do you have already? Also, what country are you from? That info could effect the answer your looking for(CesFaq.com! really should start displaying that info by default).

If your conversation about the switch Digital broadcast (happening Feb 2009 surrounded by the US).. that only effects you if you use an antenna (bunny ears style) to pickup broadcast box. If you use satellite or cable, you won't be effect by that. Even if you do use an antenna for basic meet people TV, you can still use an old TV, you'll a short time ago need for a while converter box.

Otherwise, you don't NEED to upgrade your TV, at least for slightly a while yet. You may intensely well want to though... for instance if you don't hold an HD TV yet you'll be missing out on the part many others will be experiencing. DVD will eventually be replaced by Blu-Ray disc which is HD... but you can still play a Blu-Ray movie on a Blu-Ray player on a regular non-HD tv... you simply won't see an HD picture and won't really be getting what your paying for from Blu-Ray.

If your talking nearly something else, more specifically, do tell and I'll put in to my answer.
are you chitchat about the switching over to digital thingy? (great terminology) powerfully you will have to otherwise you wont know how to watch tellie, a short time ago get a freeview set later it will work
i love these questions, erm you wont unless its broken!!
You wonĄŻt, providing that it has SCART sockets. During the subsequent few years, the old analogue TV will be discontinued and individual digital TV will be transmitted but at higher power than presently. For an outdated TV with SCART, adjectives you will need is a Freeview box.
All tv stations have to dance to digital signals in 2009 (originally 2006 so clutch the dates near a grain of salt) because the FCC will be taking the analog frequencies rear (and reselling them for other purposes). It was also a passageway to get the crucial stations switched over to digitial (less bandwidth and more info).

If you have cable tv, you won't want an additional converter box to use your outmoded tv. If you get over the heavens transmission (using an antenna) next you will need to purchase a small converter box. The FCC will be giving $40 sour coupons through the mail. Check out the relation below to see how to apply for a coupon.
