Can some one please minister to me to fix my TV system? I am in the UK and hold On Demand
I am in the UK and hold On Demand with Virgin Media.
The TV works fine and when I own the set top box on that works too. But on demand is a torment in the bum and it won't consent to me watch any of the programs.
I click 'on demand' on the remote control, after I click the day and the TV chanel approaching normal. I click 'keep watch on this program' and it says 'the program is more or less to begin'....and then BLACK! nothin happen, I can see the program timer counting away but can't see or hear a program.
I go to 'help' and the fix clause but that won't work either. It's happen loads of times and each time it does it I verbs out the power, plug it back within and then it works agiain....but not this time. grr
please can some oen support me, it's my only free daylight and I really wanna watch my fave program :(

I am in Australia and see this problem next to Set Top Boxes and such.
If this is a Pay TV service I would contact the provider and ask for a Technician to come out & replace the On Demand Box.
When you say you unplug it & later it works , but it didnt this time - I would suggest there is a software issue inside the On Demand Box.
Replacing this component should rectify your problem.

sorry I have exactly the same problem so I phoned virgin the asian woman I spoke to asked me to do all the usual things and after give or take a few several minutes she gave up and arranged a service beckon for several days later but they never arrived so contained by frustration I took out my card from the slot to get the details sour it to possibly cancel my information but just on the offchance I cleaned the chip near a clean dry cloth and put it posterior in and hey presto it worked without a flaw no problems with on emergency since I wish it be the same for the internet but thats another story I hope this help
