I just bought an hd tv. Its a vizio. I am trying to see the hd picture but i don't enjoy hd cable yet. I enjoy comcast digital cable. (just the regular package, no movie channel. I keep seeing online that you can go and get hd programs from rabbit ears., but can I still have my comcast hooked up at one and the same time? or is it a one or the other deal?
I don't deliberate the picture is that great right now. It mode of looks distorted. is that because the screen is considerable? 47" They look so good on display within the store. So I am trying to see if the picture is going to be totally different with hd, but i don't enjoy hd service right now..

Yes
Not after Feb 2009 Yes-if you are believably close to the transmitters, you can get over the atmosphere HD with a simple antenna.
Hook the "rabbit ears" to the coaxial input and turn out for channels.
Hook the cable box to the TV using an S cable.
Since you enunciate you have digital minicab;le, I'm assuming you have a cable box.
If your cable box have a component output, then use that.
If you don't enjoy a cable box and your TV has two coaxial inputs, antenna and cable, hook up the box to the coaxial cable input.
If you don't hold a box and your TV only have one coaxial input, first try the antenna to see if you get a accurate signal. If you do, then you can any swap connections between the antenna and cable or you can get a coaxial A/B switch and use the switch to choose the input you want.
