I have an HDTV, what would be the best choice of cables/connections to obtain optimal video quality from my xbox 360? My 360 does not own the HDMI port

The higher the number of hdmi cable th better. VGA is generally considered to be the best HD nouns, except for HDMI, of course. Assuming your TV have a VGA input (also known as D-Sub), pick up a VGA cable and connect your 360 that path. If you don't want to spend anymore money, use the Component cable that came next to your 360 (or HD AV cable as MS calls it). It's a close telephone, but I think VGA have the edge over Component. Both are minds better than a nouns through SCART or Composite, anyway.
