how do i found out how many mhz does my TV own and how do i turn it on or off?
720 dpi or 1080 HDTV? What difference can in actual fact be see?
I'm wanting to buy a new flat blind TV but I can't see the difference between the new 1080 and closing years 720 dpi. Are the new ones really worth the cost for unflappable users?

720p or more for 32" tube?
Looking for a 32" HD television. Most of the unit I looked at in Best Buy be 720p. Is this because the benefits of anything greater are lost on such a relatively small screen? I appreciate broadcast HD is maxed out today at 720p - but contained by the future may not be. I'm not a big video gamer, and don't own a blu-ray DVD player - though having said that I do own an xbox 360 and plan on buying a PS3 (ironic I know). What i tight-fisted is, i'm not so hardcore as to care something like the difference when it comes to games. So this is just a standard enquiry as to whether or not the difference between 720p and 1080p is discernible on a 32" eyeshade.

hello! im considering between a 32" samsung 780p lcd and a 32" sharp aquos 1080p. ive seen both of them side by side at bestbuy... im not sure if they be on the same settings, but the samsung looked a bit better. is at hand any disadvantage to getting the 720 vs 1080? im mostly into movies, network tv, and playstation 3 games. the room im putting it surrounded by is pretty small; i estimate about 8' of space between myself and the tv. can anyone recommend a finicky tv brand and model? preferably below $1400... thank you!

A Sylvania tube t.v. 3 years antediluvian?
My elderly mother's t.v. is only 3 yrs. matured. Worked fine but the other night she go to turn it on and nothing happen. She says she could hear a giddy noise coming from inside the t.v. Is in that a simple procedure she could try to restore it to service again? It won't be easy replacing this t.v. since it's a tube t.v. beside a front earphone jack. They're almost impossible to find (it's roughly 26" and didn't cost very much.)

ABC warehouse called me and they want to get rid of me a warranty for my 6 year old 27" tv. They said they would hold to replace it if even the littlest thing go wrong because they don't make the parts anymore. Last week they said it be $98 and today they said only $52. Is this some brand of scam?
