When you compare a Sony with a Samsung of duplicate size the Samsung is usually a couple hundred dollars cheaper with a superior contrast ratio and more hdmi ports. Plus I think Sony uses Samsung panel for their tvs.
An open-box display system or refurbished sony bravia??
Hi all, I only just recently bought a display component of Sony Bravia KDL32ML130. I have it for 2 days and so far I am far from in good spirits with it. I don't know whether the picture power (using DVD, SD DISH and PS2) supposed to be blurry when I use component cable (RYG) or not. Do you guys know? Do you think the root it's blurry because it's been ON (never be turned off) as a display for customers in the store for months? I ruminate the picture quality be good when it be displayed on the shelf. The TV was creation in AUG 2007. I bought it from Walmart. I of late bought it so I can return it and get something else. There is an exact same model of TV, but it is refurbished. Do you regard a refurbished TV is any good?
Analog and Digital TV's?
On like february 17 of subsequent year the tvs will be switched completely to digital. I have NO notion what that means. Whats the difference. What does digital do that's so different. I hold digital cable. is that okay? i have no opinion whats going on. can someone fill me surrounded by?

i have hear that as of jan 2009, you can no longer use analog tv... first of all what is analog tv... i enjoy been told that you can no longer use an atenna and must use cable...is that right is that even leagal

I have NO room surrounded by my house(specificaly in my bedroom) for a BIG-screen digital TV...so as of 2-17-09, that channel there will ONLY be BIG-screen DTVs?... I want one and only a small(5"-8") color TV(can be either digital or analog) that can STILL be sold contained by the USA...do I go to Best Buy, Fry's, or...?... Thansk for your backing!

The Basics: 52" HP Plasma tv (1080i) DirecTV HD DVR no home theatre setup, using tv speakers My problem comes down to one station single and thats CBS and my problem only occur when watching HD shows. Whenever I watch a show close to C.S.I. or more recently the NCAA basketball tournament, adjectives of which were within HD, there is a slight snag between what I see and what I hear. The delay is I don`t know less than 1/4 of a second, but it's VERY clear. I'll see someone talk, but I won't hear it until 1/4 second next. This was extremely annoying watching basketball the final few weeks when you'd see the ball stir through the net, but wouldn't hear the "swish" until the other troop inbounds the ball.. This also happen on every show broadcast in HD as powerfully as the local CBS news, which is surrounded by hd also. Any shows on CBS that are in standard definition are fine. Also any other shows contained by HD on any other channel are fine as economically. My problem is only beside my HD service on CBS. Any suggestions

Apex Tv?
I have an Apex Tv and it seem to cut off picture about an inch adjectives the way around. For example, on espn, the bottom red file that gives you score is cut off. Is in that anyway to adjust the tv so I can see everything, so it doesnt cut off any imitation?
